THE OUROBOROS DRAGON CUFF ON THE COVER OF AUGUST'S 2018 BEADWORK MAGAZINE
Friends I'm overjoyed to share with you my newest jewelry cover on August's 2018 Beadwork Magazine! It features my Ouroboros Dragon Cuff design which is a truly unique piece of fine art jewelry.
The Ouroboros Dragon Cuff was inspired from the ancient symbol of a dragon eating it’s own tail, the Ouroboros. The circular reptilian symbol represents both infinity and eternity. An impressive seven different beading stitches were used to create and sculpt this unique piece of fine art jewelry.
This special cuff features a three-dimensional beaded dragonhead toggle clasp with Swarovski crystal eyes. The dragonhead is sculpted and shaped using a intricatebeading technique called Freeform Peyote. The dragon scales are made of finely shaped Czech glass beads that have been acid etched to give them their dramatic surface texture. The cuffs tactile bristling dragon scales are both exotic and memorizing.
Stay tuned to find out more about the Ouroboros Dragon Cuff in the coming days!
